Find a mentor Become a mentor
How it works

Real coaching. Real careers. No school required.

Browse vetted working creatives, pick how you want to work together, meet on your schedule.

1

Find your mentor

Filter by craft - acting, directing, screenwriting, music production, animation, photography, and more. Every mentor on the platform is a working creative who's been vetted by our team.

2

Book a single session

30 or 60-minute video calls. Pay per session, no subscription. After the call, it's up to you and the mentor whether to book another in two weeks, three weeks, or never.

3

Meet, share work, leave better

Sessions happen over Google Meet via your booking confirmation link. Bring scripts, reels, tracks, questions. Show up sharper than you were before.

What you book

Single sessions, that's it.

Each mentor sets their own rate. You book one call at a time — if it goes well, book another. No subscriptions, no commitments.

One session

  • 30 or 60-minute video call over Google Meet
  • Career advice, specific project feedback, craft questions
  • Pay per session, no subscription
  • Book another any time, on your own pace
Find a mentor

Mentors set their own rates. We add a small platform fee on top to cover scheduling, payments and support. Payment is held until your session happens.

FAQ

Common questions.

How are mentors vetted?

Every mentor applies and shares their work history (credits, portfolio, links). Our team reviews each application by hand and only accepts working creatives with real industry experience and a track record of being good to work with.

Can I switch mentors?

Every session is one-off, so there's nothing to cancel. Try a few different mentors until you find someone whose perspective fits you.

How much does it cost?

Mentors set their own rates based on their experience and what they offer. You'll see each mentor's specifics on their profile. We add a small platform fee on top to cover scheduling, payments, support and dispute resolution.

How do video calls work?

Calls happen over our integrated video tool right in the platform, no scheduling links to copy or extra apps to install.

Is mentorship tax-deductible?

In many regions, professional development is deductible. We send detailed receipts after every payment, check with a local accountant for specifics.

Can I get my money back?

If your first session doesn't feel right, we'll refund it, no questions asked. We want a great fit just as much as you do.

How do I get paid?

You set your own rate and we add a small platform fee on top, paid by the mentee. We payout to your Stripe account weekly. Tax docs and receipts are handled automatically.

How long does the application take?

Filling it out takes about 5 minutes. We review applications within 3-5 business days and reply by email either way.

Do I have to commit to set hours?

No. You set your own availability on Cal.com, you decide which sessions to accept, and you can take a week (or a month) off any time. We never put a session on your calendar without your approval.

Can I bring mentees from outside the platform?

Yes. Many mentors do. Once they're on the platform, scheduling, payments, contracts and tax docs are all handled for you.

What if a mentee isn't a fit?

You're under no obligation to accept any mentee. Each session stands on its own — if it didn't click, you don't have to book another. We can help if a conversation gets awkward.

How do you decide who gets in?

We're looking for working creatives with real industry credits and a generous attitude toward sharing what they know. We don't require a certain number of years or a famous resume, just real, current work and a track record of being thoughtful about craft.
